I configured mender client in my debian image ,when am using that image in multiple devices, in mender dashboard showing only one device

i configured mender client in my Debian image that image placed in my device ,
that image am using 3 devices … mac id changed all devices
when am using that image parallel in my devices mac id showing only one device in my dashboard…
fota also done to all device at a time … 3 devices should be display on dashboard am right ? but here showing only one device in dashboard … how can i rectify this problem …

Hi @gpram based on your description I would think it should indeed show 3 devices. You can manually run the /usr/share/mender/identity/mender-device-identity script on each device to see exactly what is getting provided to the server as the identity. More details are here: https://docs.mender.io/2.2/client-configuration/identity

Also, if you take a look at the Mender logs on each of the 3 devices, it may give a clue as to what is going on.

Hi drew , already I executed , that script showing only Mac id is it correct?, but mender client ping to server with new Mac id, but in dashboard showing only one device with old Mac id, when I deleted old device Mac id in dashboard … after that we got new 3 pending devices in dashboard… I think in Ur
Dashboard server problem… Am using mender professional paid version… As soon as possible pls reply … it’s urgent…

I have never seen anything like that. Can you provide the client logs from the systems when it is in the error state?

Unfortunately I don’t see anything in there that can cause that. If you can figure out how to reproduce this we can look further. I regularly have multiple devices where only the MAC ID is different between them and have not seen this so there must be something more that caused it.
