I’m trying to use mender in a standalone mode. According to this link
https://docs.mender.io/development/system-updates-yocto-project/customize-mender#disabling-mender-as-a-system-service
I need to disable the systemd service, which I can confirm is running. However, when I add this line to my local.conf
MENDER_FEATURES_DISABLE_append = " mender-systemd"
I see this error in building
ERROR: mender-configure-1.0.0-r0 do_package: SYSTEMD_SERVICE_mender-configure value mender-configure-apply-device-config.service does not exist
Is there a step I’m missing to disable this service?
Theres some discussion here on the topic, mender.service got renamed mender-client.service at some point.
@dellgreen thanks and sorry for the double post. I just ran across it.
