Updating ModemManager to latest version

Hello,

Has anyone tried updating ModemManager to the latest module. I downloaded modem-manager from the recipe available in meta-openembedded but that only has modem manager upto version 1.8

How do I update it to a newer version? Do I just replace the existing recipe with the recipe for the latest version?

I am using warrior branch. Any suggestions and pointers are welcome.

That’s just a Yocto thing and not specific to Mender. The best way is to create your own layer containing a recipe for the latest version. You may have to upgrade other components as well based on dependencies and such.
