When reading about u-boot I get the impression that it is possible to split the code into stages. Does Mender support this behaviour (e.g. a very small u-boot in the boot partition and the rest of it located in rootfs_a and rootfs_b)?

Hi @joeli it’s not something we have tested but I don’t know of anything that would explicitly preclude it. If you test it out, please report back.
