Mender-convert time

Hi everyone. I’m using the recommended workflow to convert a Raspbian golden image (16 GB SD card) on a Mac. The tutorial says this takes 10-30 minutes but it’s been running for over 6 hours and still isn’t done.

Is this normal? If so can I run this on Google Compute Engine to speed it up?

Seems like very long time. What step is it at?

mender-convert-package is writing rootfsb partition image now. Took 2 hours to write the image for rootfsa before this and another 2 hours to extract the image before that.
