Libssl1.1 on Ubuntu 16.04

I’m trying to install mender client for Ubuntu Server 16.04 - I’m fine with either APT repository or .deb. mender-client won’t work because Ubuntu 16.04 is missing libssl1.1 (it’s stuck on libssl1.0.2).

Is there an older version of the .deb that works with Ubuntu 16.04 and libssl1.0?

Yes, the latest one you can use I believe is here: Downloads | Mender documentation

I run a linux device on Ubuntu 16.04/OpenSSL 1.0.2 with mender-client-2.3.1, so I’m assuming that since 2.3.3 is a minor patch bump, it’ll work for you.

Thanks, I didn’t realize I could access more downloads there. Unfortunately, 2.3.3 didn’t work for me, it was still complaining about libssl1.1, but 2.2.1 worked.
