Error: user has too many open sessions

I’m on the free tier and I seem to get this every so often when I try to ssh into the device via the Mender GUI - and kicks me off. There are no active sessions on the device with the exception of the mender client. Will I face this issue on a paid tier and is there a way around this without having physical access to the device.

Thanks in advance,
Cein

Hi @Cein-Markey,

just to understand the question correctly. “by ssh into the device via the Mender GUI” you mean initiating a remote terminal session?

And which kind of device/software version is exhibiting this behaviour?

Greetz,
Josef

Hey @TheYoctoJester ,

That is correct, initiating a remote terminal session.

The device is a Jetson AGX105 with Ubuntu 18.04

Thanks,
Cein

Hi @Cein-Markey,

can you check if this applies to you?

Greetz,
Josef

Hey @TheYoctoJester,

I’ve updated the Sessions.MaxPerUser temporarily and will monitor it over the coming days. Thanks for your help.

Thanks,
Cein
