I have the same issue, I created a raspberry pi image using the kas file from the meta-mender-community. I change the name to name_v2, and added some additional content. However, the update stays on queued to start without any additional information. I am using the hosted trial account. Thanks for any help on this matter.

Unless you are using a short update polling interval for testing/demo purposes, a deployment is in queued state until the device checks for the next time. How long did you wait? Can you check the /etc/mender/mender.conf file on the device for the polling interval?
