Posibility of changing name of /data partition

Because of some formal reasons, we would like to change the name of the /data partition to /conf.

Hence, we would like to know whether this is possible? Also, what is the recommended way to change the /data partition name?

Should definitely be possible and we do not have any clear guidelines how to do it though.

But a quick list of things to do is:

  • update mountpoint in fstab
  • update /var/lib/mender/ symlink to point to /conf instead of /data

And that should be it :slight_smile:
