Which branch are you building? The very beginning of the bitbake output will show all the layers and the git hashes for them. Can you share that info? Drew

I’m not sure what the current state of gatesgarth/master builds is but as you have evidently discovered there are some issues. I would recommend you use the dunfell branches as those are the Yocto LTS versions and the currently supported branches with Mender. Anything newer is under active develop…
