Looking at the current documentation (Mender 2.0), the page on Standalone Deployments (https://docs.mender.io/2.0/architecture/standalone-deployments) says:
Note that state scripts are a feature of managed mode. State scripts are not executed when running Mender in standalone mode.
However, the page on state scripts has a section on standalone mode (https://docs.mender.io/2.0/artifacts/state-scripts#standalone-mode) which suggests that a subset of the state scripts are executed.
I think this needs some clarification so I can be sure if state scripts do or don’t execute in standalone mode.
