Unexpected filesize mender-client 3.0.0

I’m trying to update mender-client (AMD64) on my device to version 3.0.0. Unfortunately I get an error of an unexpected file-size. See apt messages below.

Get:1 https://downloads.mender.io/repos/debian stable/main amd64 mender-client amd64 3.0.0-1 [2,607 kB]

Am I doing something wrong? Updating to mender-client 2.6.0 went perfectly using the same approach.

Thanks.

Hi @Dave and thank you for reporting the issue

The error is definitely on our side. I am looking into it and hoping to fix it ASAP.

As a workaround, you can download and install the package manually from here.

@lluiscampos Thanks for the swift response

Hi again @Dave,

It should be fixed now.

There was a glitch on our automated pipelines and two files got updated when they should have not. I did revert this change, and synchronized again the mirror.

I am now running our automated tests to verify the fix, but I tested manually and it works for me. Feel free to try again on your side!

Hi @lluiscampos . It works :+1: Thanks again
