Mender standalone installation progress last few percent very long

Using mender install in standalone mode, on the stdout the first 0-99% takes 3 mins and then I’m seeing a further 3 mins to get from 99% to 100%. Is there some kind of verification phase happening causing the duplication of time, as there is no progress state change during this last percent to indicate what is happening
