Help with self-hosting mender

For starters, I’d like to thank the team at Mender for creating such a product and still making it open source.

Secondly, seeing how complex this product is, it is extremely daunting to me and overwhelming. Does anyone have any starting points(videos, articles) on how to get up and running on a self-hosted mender setup? I know their documentation is pretty thorough but theres a lot of steps and if one thing goes wrong then its botched. I have scoured through the documentation plenty of times, both running through docker-compose and kubernetes and for the life of me I just can’t seem to get it right.

Hi. As a beginner I can tell you that the Installation guide is very precise. I followed up this steps:

> Installation with docker compose

Hi @jordan-lumley

We don’t have a lot of specific material except the docs on setting up Mender self-hosted atm - however the docs should be pretty good.

However, we are scaling up our developer relations, and this will be looked into in the new year
