# Yocto Build Speed up

Hi,

I am trying to speed up my build in the CI. I have saved DL\_DIR and SSTATE to a google cloud storage. But when I restart the build. I get this output:

```
Step #9 - "build-tx2": Initialising tasks...done.
Step #9 - "build-tx2": Sstate summary: Wanted 2799 Found 0 Missed 2799 Current 0 (0% match, 0% complete)

```

So it seems that it’s not taking my sstate and download dir.  
I launch the build like this:

```
source setup-environment tegra
export MENDER_ARTIFACT_NAME=${SHORT_SHA}
export DL_DIR=${_DL_DIR}
export MACHINE=$$_MACHINE
export SSTATE_DIR=${_SSTATE_DIR}
export BB_ENV_EXTRAWHITE="$$BB_ENV_EXTRAWHITE MENDER_ARTIFACT_NAME SOFT_SRCREV 
 DL_DIR MACHINE SSTATE_DIR"
bitbake tegra-tx2

```

In my CI the MENDER\_ARTIFACT\_NAME was not working so i followed this [Howto: MENDER\_ARTIFACT\_NAME automatic setup for yocto build](https://hub.mender.io/t/howto-mender-artifact-name-automatic-setup-for-yocto-build/468)  
But then all my env var like this:

`SOFT_SRCREV BB_ENV_EXTRAWHITE="$$BB_ENV_EXTRAWHITE MENDER_ARTIFACT_NAME" MACHINE bitbake tegra-tx2`

were ignored so I added them to BB\_ENV\_EXTRAWHITE
