I have my old desktop that broke but still seems to start up, so I would like to install Linux. But I only have so much time so should get it right on the first try. So was wondering what Linux do you recommend to someone who knows a bunch of Linux commands over SSH, but who desires a Desktop and for things to just work. It should also be maximally compatible with Mender without headaches. Thanks!

This is for a WorkStation, because none of the artifact creation works without Linux or MacOS. Tried WSL, but failed one way or another.
