# Updating mender file from Raspbian Stretch lite to Raspbian Buster lite

I noticed that the Raspbian Buster lite boot partition is 256MB vs the smaller partition size of Raspbian Stretch lite.

Will the .mender file manage the updates to both uboot and rootfs?

Or do I have to flash all my devices with the newer .IMG file?

U-Boot is not updated by Mender Artifacts.

You need to ensure that the rootfs partition size is equal in size on all your device.
