# Update public key

Hello Mender community,  
I have a accepted device in mender, I want to change public key of same using rest API.  
How to change public key of authorized device using rest API

I’m not sure I understand?

Why would you want to change the public-key? This means you are changing the private-key as well I suppose? And you will have to accept the device anew.
