Hello again, We have implemented the structure of the application as discussed above. A trial deployment was released, but it ended up in an `INCONSISTENT` state. I can clearly see that `ArtifactInstall` step succeeded (new files were placed on a device successfully, confirmed that manually), however it failed at `ArtifactCommit_Enter`. As a result, no state scripts were run at states `ArtifactCommit_Leave` and `ArtifactFailure_Leave` leaving a device with a non-running application. Currently, as per config above, it is not specified, so defaults to `3 * ceil(log2(RetryPollIntervalSeconds) + 1)`. As per `mender.conf` above, `RetryPollIntervalSeconds` is `300`, meaning that `RetryPollCount`=3 \* ceil(log2(300) + 1) =\> `RetryPollCount`=30. However, it was approx. 550 requests to retry later from a script (so approx. 550 minutes/9 hours of “delay”). Could this be the reason? If not, what could be a potential cause of a failure in delivering an update as per scenario above? Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
