# Support for Yocto 5.2 - walnascar

@TheYoctoJester Considering `styhead` is EOL, do we have the support for `walnascar`, please? Thanks

Hi @jainvikas8,

The preliminary state is at [GitHub - TheYoctoJester/meta-mender at master-next](https://github.com/TheYoctoJester/meta-mender/tree/master-next), and the PR is already in flight at [Bump master-next to the walnascar release by TheYoctoJester · Pull Request #2298 · mendersoftware/meta-mender · GitHub](https://github.com/mendersoftware/meta-mender/pull/2298).

Tested it on `qemuarm64` and `raspberrypi4-64`, and will try to get a full validation run on it scheduled.

Just for the sake of clarification: if nothing unexpected happens, then you’ll get support for `walnascar` on the `master-next` branch, but still no guarantees, and the branch might rebase. Only LTS releases will receive full testing and support.
