Hello,

seems like I’m having almost similar problems: [Intel-uefiimg is not bootable](https://hub.mender.io/t/intel-uefiimg-is-not-bootable/3026)

However, I just checked and in my case, `mender_kernel_root_base` is correctly set according to my settings from local.conf - maybe this is not the root cause for those issues.

Did you find any other reasons so far?
