# Preauth state to accepted state

Hi @sahithi,

In a nutshell: just wait, it’s the polling cycle in effect, plus the refresh of the web dashboard. If you have a long inventory update polling cycle configured but want to do a first inventory update early, then you can use the `mender-update send-inventory` command.
