# Note for users who use 'mailing list mode'

For several days, mailing list mode was disabled, so anyone using the forum in mailing list mode will have missed some emails. This was triggered by a change Discourse made to a default setting without giving clear warning (see ["mailing list mode" mysteriously deactivated - support - Discourse Meta](https://meta.discourse.org/t/mailing-list-mode-mysteriously-deactivated/182650)).

It has now been enabled again, so you should continue to receive emails normally as you did before.
