# Not able to login on Yocto image

I genearated .sdimg and i copied into sd card after that I am not able login using login:pi and passwd:raspberry instead of that using root.

if I login as root,not able access sudo …

please help me…!

The default image (core-image-base) that is generated by Yocto defaults to “root” without any password. So this is expected behavior.

The pi/raspberry combination is typical for the Rasbpian distribution. We have a seperate post for that, [here](https://hub.mender.io/t/raspberry-pi-3-model-b-b-raspbian/140/9)
