Hi All, I follow this step [Prepare a Raspberry Pi device | Mender documentation](https://docs.mender.io/get-started/preparation/prepare-a-raspberry-pi-device#step-6-install-the-mender-client-on-the-device) as mentioned in the tutorial but my device never appears in my pending device tab or not showing in [mender.io](http://mender.io) when using the copy to clipboard command in pi at the end I got this result `Set the IP of the Mender Server: [127.0.0.1] Please enter a valid IP address: Success!` Anybody have idea how to tackle this? Thanks ---

Hi, can you provide some more details: - how you flashed the image to SD card - if you can ssh to the raspberry or you can see it in the local network ---

Few extra questions from me (sorry if they may sounds silly): - if the raspberry has access to the internet and is not blocked - if this is the first time this exact raspberry is being tried with Mender ---

No its not silly completely fine to ask ques. - I used Raspberry Pi Imager to flash the SD card with OS in that provided in the tutorial. - Yes, I can SSH into the Raspberry Pi and itโ€™s visible on the local network , Pi is able to connect to the internet as well. - This Pi was used with Mender before, but I formatted the SD card and started fresh. ---

If there is a chance in the past you removed / blacklisted this device? I did something like this in the past and result was device not showing up in the web UI as it was considered as decommissioned. ---

@sushkoi Thank you very much for your report. We found the issue ๐Ÿ”Ž ๐Ÿ› and fixed it! In short, there was a miss-configuration in EU hosted Mender that was creating a faulty bash snippet for you to copy-paste into your device. This mistake was introduced earlier this week and it is fixed now. Pleas try again ๐Ÿ™‚ Lluรญs
