# Mender artifact converted debian image Screen is stuck on Grub prompt after booting

I have created a Golden image file of three partitions (EFI, root, swap) using the existing Debian OS (Installed on USB stick) with the dd command.  
After successfully creating the mender artifact I got 4 files in deploy folder having extention as (.img, .mender, .cfg, .ext4)  
Created a bootable USB stick using .img file and booted on machine.  
But after booting screen is stuck on Grub prompt.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you please share a few more details?

- which board/platform?
- which Debian release?
- which `mender-convert` configuration was used?
- any noteworthy messages during the process?
