# JWT token not fetched

Hi,  
I would like to report a situation I ran into lately and I was wondering if anyone had similar issue.

**When I power up my device without internet connectivity, and then connect it latter, I noticed that fetching JWT token fails** (token and url are empty strings).

Here are some details:

- It was observed on version **`3.5.1`**. I usually use `3.4.0` and never noticed this behaviour. I will update the post if I see it in the future.
- The second time I observed the behaviour `mender-connect` logs stated that it did not find the dbus interface for authentication. Something similar to the issue stated in [this thread](https://hub.mender.io/t/mender-connect-dbus-errors-that-authenticationmanager-was-not-provided/3143). I don’t know if it’s related or not.
