# Installation failure due to Unexpected EOF

I recently had an installation error on one of my target devices and trying to figure out exactly what this error means.

```
ERRO[0047] Download failed: Payload: can no install Payload: name-of-image.ext4: unexpected EOF
ERRO[0047] Payload: can not install Payload: name-of-image.ext4: unexpected EOF

```

This seems to be a one off error and haven’t seen it again, but I wanted to figure out if there’s something I need to address. I tried searching through the code for the error code 0047 but failed to find anything.
