# Customizing mender client update behaviour

hello @community, I havwe successfully integrated mender into my sama5d27 image and everything works perfectly, Now I want to control when the board download and install updates from hosted mender. Like whenever there is an update on the hostedmender, I want to be the one to give the board running the client (in this case sama5d27 ) permission to download the update and reboot\>
