# AGX orin industrial build issues

Has anyone tried getting mender to work with the industrial variant of the AGX orin devkit? I figured it would work without issue since its nearly identical to the non-industrial AGX-orin devkit, but if I make a build that targets that machine config the `tegra_uefi_capsules` compile step fails. If anyone has thoughts on what these errors could mean and where to start in terms of making them compatible, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Curiously, I was able to build an image for the non-industrial AGX orin, flash to an industrial board and it booted successfully. Not sure what implications there may be of doing this and if it may cause incompatibilities with certain systems

This looks like a failure which happens when there’s a mismatch on the sizing of a partition, probably the APP partition. See related discussion at [Changing ROOTFSPART\_SIZE results in an error · OE4T · Discussion #1189 · GitHub](https://github.com/orgs/OE4T/discussions/1189) - you likely need some additional modifications to the partition table. I’d try to reproduce with the stock tegra-demo-distro image on the same branch and if you can’t, use that to compare with the image from the mender layer.
